About this ebook

Samantha Martin is an imp, enjoying an extended vacation from Hel. All she wants to do is drink beer by the pool, play mischievous pranks on the humans, and get her hot neighbor in the sack. It’s a relaxing break from her infernal home as long as she manages to avoid the angels, who won’t hesitate to execute her on sight.
But when her naughty hellhound lands her in trouble with the local werewolf pack, Sam is blackmailed into helping track and catch a killer. The steps she must take to appease the werewolves will put her right in the crosshairs of the angels. And with angels, there is no second chance.

Author

Debra Dunbar

After majoring in English Literature with a concentration in Medieval and Folklore studies, Debra promptly sold out to the corporate world, occasionally dabbling in writing marketing copy and op/ed articles for a local city paper. By day, she designs compensation programs, after dark she stuffs her nose into obscure mythology, and feverishly writes her novels. A DEMON BOUND is her debut novel. Debra lives on a farm in Maryland with Sweetie, three sons, and a Noah’s ark of four legged family members. Unlike her protagonist, she drives an old PT Cruiser, couldn’t carry a tune if you duct taped it to her back, and enjoys an occasional cosmopolitan (heavy on the vodka). On a good day, she jogs and horseback rides, hopefully managing to keep the horse between herself and the ground. Her only known super power is ‘Identify Roadkill’.

Really enjoyed this story was a great start to a series I'm looking forward to Reading, I loved the fact that Sam was so bad ass and in unshamingly evil was very refreshing ,liked Wyatt and candy but am rooting for Gregory as him and his cockroach ( had a right giggle at that ) would in my opinion make a fab duo looking forward to seeing what this series brings .

When I first got this book, I thought that this was going to be another generic, urban fantasy, demon story. Booooy, was I wrong!! This book stands out of the crowds, makes you fall in love with the characters, and leaves you craving more! **hi5 to Debra** All I can say to you is, Thank you! Thank you, for making an excellent series, that I have fallen entirely in love with. The moment I finished this book, I was smiling, and left with so much anticipation over the next book, that I went and Googled the entire series, just to find out more about it. The idea for this book is just genius. A demon that looks like she's in her 40's, a slum-lord, and lives in Maryland, just makes this every bit more amazing. It's about time someone took a different approach on the Angel / Demon thing. I loved every ounce of the MC's being. Sam is one feisty, funny, kick-ass temptress, that I would have so much fun running around causing chaos with. (making creatures from random woodland objects, throwing darts at gaudy wall art, the shenanigans would never end)Even though the book isn't that long, it is packed with action, great characters, comedic moments, and some twists that make it hard to predict. There are some hints of sexual content, but nothing graphic, if anything, I found those parts adorable and hilarious. The fact that this book takes place in Maryland, got my attention. Even more so, because it took place in several of my go to areas. Columbia Mall!!!! LMAO!!! I am so familiar with that food court. Now I need to go back there and take a whole new appreciation for it, as it will forever remind me of this book, and that it's a Gate to Hel. I can not wait to read the next book in the series. It's going to be fun to see:1. How Sam, Wyatt, and Gregory are getting along. 2. If Sam ever returns her call to Dar. 3. What exactly is the tat that Gregory put on her arm do.4. How much power Sam actually has.5. What that heck does Hel look like. (I'm very curious to see how that is described, since every part of this was magic) Definitely, recommend this to anyone that loves, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Angel / Demons, quick reads, and someone that wants to get a taste for any of those genres, but has no clue where to start.

A Demon Bound (Imp #1) by Debra Dunbar is an awesome book about an imp living here pretending to be a human. She collects rent from those places that no one wants to go to because you could get your head caved in. She collects the money fine. She has to avoid angels, they will execute her on site. So, what happens, angel! It is a kick butt story with suspense, action, humor, weres, demons, a hot neighbor, her hellhound, and lots of twists. Great read!
