Reflective Quotes for Reflective Times - Kimberly Gephardt

    Acknowledgements

I would like say praise to the Father who created me, Jesus who gave His life for me, and the Holy Spirit who empowered me to write under His direction.  This book would not have been possible if it were not for the Lord who chose me to write what He tells me. All glory and honor goes to the Lord.

I would like to acknowledge my hero Tony McCall, my dad. He is truly a man of God whose hands are blessed when he prays. When the world told me I couldn’t, Tony always had the faith in God, and sought the Lord on my behalf that I would accomplish and do as God called me to do in the kingdom of God, and therefore I did! I just wanted to say, I did it! Thanks for all your prayers and your faith in God and in me. I Love You.

I would like to acknowledge Ruth McCall, my mom, and a woman of God for her continued inspiration even through difficult times in my life. Her tenacity to start Parents Anonymous meetings to help others be better parents has inspired me to do my best for God and toward others. Thanks for your inspiration and I Love You.

I would like to acknowledge my son Tony Gephardt as my God given gift. Tony never let any body tell you that you can’t achieve or will not achieve in life. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. God has a plan for you.  Let the Lord guide you and walk with Him. Do not be afraid to dream the impossible dream, because all things are possible with God. Know where ever I am I love you and I am proud of you.

I would like to acknowledge all the people who gave me permission to test run this book as well as helped me to refine The Power of the prophetic to what it is today. May God bless you through out your life and through your prophetic walk, may God’s goodness and kindness follow you all the days of your life.

I would like to acknowledge Pastor Janice Brooks. Thanks for being my friend and confidant in ministry. I thank you for your honesty and integrity as woman and as a pastor. I Thank God for you and I am blessed to have you as a part of my life. May God prosper you in all that you endeavor in every aspect of your life and in your God given ministries.

    Chapter 1- FOCUS

Hebrews 12:2 Fixing our eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising shame and was sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. NASB

Focus in the flesh keeps you from finding the truth about you; focus in the spirit helps you find the truth about you.

Our focus should be three things…In Christ on Christ for Christ.

Being emotionally fragmented causes broken focus.

Your focus on Christ will take you from the earthly realms to see the heavenly realms.

Focus is true freedom, but without focus you can not be free to move forward and toward your destiny.

Focuses on first things first, always focus on Christ.

To find Christ in others don’t focus on their flesh first.

See yourself as Christ would see you.  This helps you to remain focused and increases your faith in him who is first.

Focus on Christ helps us not to focus on the frivolous acts of the devil.

Focus on Christ affirms that you belong to Christ and makes firm the foundation that you are in Christ.

Focus helps us to set healthy goals that keep our priorities and perspectives in the proper place.

Blindness in the spirit realm happens when you take your eyes off God.

When you are not in the perspective place, broken focus has permission to enter.

Broken focus is a destructive plan of the enemy.

Speaking the Word fuels your passion to remain focused during the silent times and when God is moving subtly in our life.
