I am an aspiring 16 (20 now) year old author/musican that loves to express himself. Ever since I was little, the arts have always allowed me to express myself in a way that nothing else could. I initally started out by studying guitar at a preforming arts school, but soon figured out how poetry (and different styles of literature for that matter) was a great way to convey meaning. When it comes to the way I create, I have always focused on life-tie-ins and questions that would make others (and myself) think. I believe the greatest asset we have is the ability to think freely and make decisions in our lives, and my works will always show that.

Preface
Trying to write poetry is a really interesting journey to undertake. From the moment you start, you worry about things such as: when to end, how to express yourself, and how to write. This particular genre of literature allows you to break out of a particular mold, and let the author speak his mind to the world freely. As a sixteen year old high-school student, many people would quickly classify me as just a kid
. In reality, I may be just a kid.
However, I am not a normal kid.
Being normal
is nothing more than a state of mind. Allowing yourself to see what the world is and how people interact is much more than normal, it’s called life. You have to look at what happened in the past, combine it with what you see every day, and apply it to yourself. From this, Blackened Seas and Crystal Skies was born.
