About this ebook
On a morning walk, Jackson Moonset ends up in the older side of Silverweed. Walking into a back yard, he sees a car. He's amazed; it's the dream car of his teens, the Ashtar Dom, one of the first flying cars on the market.
He decides to buy it, but the car can only be purchased if he buys the entire property which is set at a drastic price, so he agrees and goes home to tell his girlfriend the great news.
As weeks pass, getting closer to his birthday, the car is still in the shop. He and Hyacinth have moved in their new house and he has been doing a new painting.
On the eve, before his birthday, he is told by Mr. Roget something unusual was found in the glove compartment of the car: a dead man's fingers; and the coroner has been called.
Jackson and Hyacinth are on their way to find out what is going on, little knowing just what dangers are in wait for them.
It is the beginning of a long, wild night, unlike anything Jackson could ever expect to encounter; and it will take all his intellect and strength to overcome the horrors triggered by a dead man's fingers.

Jerriann Wayahowl Law co-authors on many projects with her writing partner JD Couch: as writing Duo, Windhawk and Snowhawk, penning chants voicing concerns on the world's ecological situation, social issues, and many themes we as Native Americans can pray to Creator for a better world resolution. Our mission is to take action; it is our desire to enlighten others and spur them into action, too, before it gets to a point of no return. We also use original songs and videos to further express in an audio/visual way these same concerns and themes; one person at a time can help spread the word to others they know: this world is our life support system; without it, we don't exist in an alive fashion. Living is a great thing, isn't it? Being happy, feeling secure, having peace of mind to rest at night, knowing life will continue pleasantly for future generations; that's our hope for tomorrow. It is something we all have to work at, just like with any relationship you care about, but it's the one relationship many people take for granted, expecting others to handle it, while you have the benefits of enjoying it. If you are eighteen or older, accept responsibility as an adult; it is you and your environment...make it the best you can; if we all do this, life will improve in every way for everyone. This world would then be a truly amazing place for us to call home.

Dedication:
Jerriann dedicates this work to Creator, for without His belief in her ability, she would never have come so far; thank you, Dear God on High for all you have done for me. You have been with me every step of the way, and I praise your friendship and strength to help me carry on.
I thank all my friends who have been there for me, and gave me the encouragement to continue, when times seemed too hard; I especially wish to thank my writing partner J.D. Couch, who has been a driving force in my life and who sees with the same kind of vision with his eyes and heart as I do.
I also thank my mother and sister, for they were authors before me, and the many talks we had discussing poetry and stories; and sharing flights of imagination that took us to worlds beyond time. I won’t forget.
I also thank my Dad, because he recognised how great a picture is worth compared to words; you rock, Daddy.
To my brother, for his love of history and knowing so much about many topics of the anicent world; you’ve always impressed me. I know if I ask you about something you’ll know, and be right too. You know things I haven’t a clue about; that’s cool. I love research, but it’s fun to come to you; you say it so much better than any book will have it.
And to my dear Charlie Littlebear; honey, you’re there for me and that means everything to me. Love you and thanks so much.
Chapter One:
Jackson Moonset stared at the red car with his mouth open. He was certain that rusty heap was an Ashtar Dom. He had yearned for one since their release on the market when he was seventeen, more than twenty-five years before.
His father had refused to buy him one, saying they were only a fad and not worth the expense, and instead, he had finally helped him purchase a Ford Breezer. The Breezer had wild-stormed the flyer-car market, and the Ashtar Dom had vanished within two years from the marketplace.
True, he had enjoyed his experiences with the Breezer, but his heart had never been in it like he had felt for the Ashtar Dom. Its scarcity, however, made him unable to ever purchase one, and the years had passed with his desire unsatisfied.
Jackson waded through the yellow witch grass, his heart racing, chewing his lower lip, afraid that when he got close he would find it some other vehicle. He dared not even think, until he stood beside it, his finger tracing the car emblem with the gryphon holding the AD in its beak. It was centered on a globe; the gryphon’s lion haunches stood on the continent of Africa while its front eagle feet rested on the continent of North America. My God
, he muttered under his breath, this is she, Ashtar Dom, herself.
His heart thumped, as he bent to peer into the car, inspecting the seat, his fingers resting on the door; just touching this car
