About this ebook
I patterned this story after my son and his vivid imagination. When listening to children one gets a fresh view of the world. Of course I threw in a little imagination of my own. Call it being a child at heart, childish, or just plain having fun! I had loads of fun writing this one. You can look forward to more of the same as I continue my writing career.

Author of; "David and Ferrocio; Learning to Read" I patterned this story after my son and his vivid imagination. When listening to children one gets a fresh view of the world. Of course I threw in a little imagination of my own. Call it being a child at heart, childish, or just plain having fun! I had loads of fun writing this one. You can look forward to more of the same as I continue my writing career. My thoughts of writing began during early childhood. Like many other writers, it took a lifetime of child rearing, learning to write, and preparation to reach the point of no return. Yes, I finally did it. I finally realized my dream. This in the face of mockery from those around me who told me I was living in a dream world. Let me tell you something; dreams can come true! Maybe you have a dream. Maybe you've been told it is the impossible dream. Why are you listening to them? What can they know about what is inside of you? Every plan began as a dream, whether it was a building, a business, or any one of many things that have been created in this world. My advice to you is to get going on those dreams of yours.

Chapter 1
It was Monday morning and David was still in bed all cuddly and warm. He loved staring at the ceiling. It was filled with dozens of glow in the dark plastic stars. He liked that they glowed in the dark at night. You see, he was afraid of the dark. His sheets, pillow cases and bedspread were filled with his favorite characters, Ninja Turtles.
His mom usually woke him up for school every morning, but not this morning. Instead, it was big brother Robbie. He peeked out of his bedroom door, looked both ways and tip toed into David’s room. He closed the door behind him. Then suddenly ran and jumped onto his bed.
"Wake up, David Wavid," he yelled out, trying to pull off the blankets. No, go away. Leave me alone. I don’t want to go to school," but Robbie kept tugging at the blankets.
Robbie thought it was funny calling his brother, David Wavid, but David didn’t like his nickname. It was given to him last summer at the YMCA, by his friend, after watching him jump up over the waves in the pool.
"Wake up, wake up, David Wavid. It’s time to get ready for school. If you don’t get up, you’ll
