About this ebook
This book contains several short stories that I have written as mini-mysteries. Some of the mini-mysteries are included in the book, Detective Michael Mallory's Intriguing Mysteries. The first mini-mystery in ths book is titled Sadey, the Pet Detective. Sadey is my purebred Chihuahua and has been a detective throughout her life.
Mini-mysteries are story plots that have questions for readers to answer so they can help the detective of each story solve the mystery.

Preface
This book contains several short stories that I have written as mini-mysteries. Some of the mini-mysteries are included in the book, Detective Michael Mallory's Intriguing Mysteries. The first mini-mystery in ths book is titled Sadey, the Pet Detective. Sadey is my purebred Chihuahua and has been a detective throughout her life.
Sadey the Pet Detective
Part One
Sadey was a Chihuahua and lived with her owner, Christy, and her teammates: Penny, Tippy and Cassie. She was a Pet Detective. Christy trained her to sniff and search for lost items around the house.
Sadey learned quickly. She found all kinds of misplaced items and located stolen items. She wanted to solve crimes that occurred in her neighborhood.
One day, as Sadey stood upon the back of the sofa in the living room, she looked out the window and saw something suspicious. She saw a cat carrying a bag in her mouth. Sadey barked for her teammates to follow her out the door to investigate. Penny, Tippy, and Cassie followed Sadey out the door, which was fixed so they could enter and exit, and down the street to see if they could catch the suspect. She had seen the cat in the neighborhood before. The cat's name was Taffy.
Within a few minutes, Sadey saw Taffy going into a dilapidated building. Sadey and her teammates carefully walked inside so they could see where Taffy was going and what she was carrying in the bag. When Taffy put the bag down and emptied it out, Sadey couldn't believe her eyes. She noticed several shiny objects like expensive jewelry. She wondered what Taffy was going to do with the jewelry and where she got it. She decided to stay hidden to see if anyone appeared or what Taffy would do next.
While Sadey waited with her teammates, she glanced around the room and noticed that somebody had lived there. She wondered why anyone would live in such a dilapidated place.
Within a few minutes, Sadey saw a woman appear and talk to Taffy. Taffy, you did great today. I'm so proud of you. I wish we didn't have to do this, but these items will help us now.
The woman trained Taffy to steal items and put them in the bag for her.
Sadey finally figured out why the woman trained her cat to steal. Now, she had a problem. Since she was a dog, and her teammates were dogs, how would she let people know what they discovered?
Questions to Answer
1. What did Sadey and her teammates do when they saw Taffy with the bag?
2. Where did Taffy go?
3. What were the items?
4. Why do you think the woman wanted the items?
5. How do you think Sadey will let people know what she and her teammates discovered?
6. What do you think will happen next?
Part Two
What Happened In Part One?
Sadey and her teammates: Penny, Tippy, and Cassie followed a cat named Taffy who carried a bag in her mouth. They followed her to a dilapidated building and carefully entered the building. As they watched Taffy drop her bag on the floor, they saw several shiny objects like expensive jewelry fall out of the bag. After that, a woman appeared and greeted Taffy. Sadey and her teammates knew the woman trained Taffy to steal these items. Now, lets read Part Two.
Sadey and her teammates stayed hidden so the woman wouldn’t spot them. They waited until they saw Taffy exit the building on another journey. However, instead of following Taffy, Sadey had Penny and Tippy stand guard outside while she and Cassie looked for a police officer.
After they located Detective Mallory, he didn’t know what they wanted. He noticed Sadey and Cassie jumping around and barking as if they wanted him to follow them.
When Detective Mallory arrived at the dilapidated building, he spotted two other big dogs and called for assistance. The four dogs waited with Detective Mallory, and within a few minutes, Detective Mallory saw Taffy carrying a bag and enter the building. Detective Mallory wondered why Taffy would go into a dilapidated building with a bag.
When Officer Jackson arrived on the scene, he approached Detective Mallory. What's going on here?
Officer Jackson asked.
"These two small dogs came up to me and wanted me to follow them, so I did, and when I arrived,
