Matthew was watching all this with his watery eyes. He ran up to the nearest store and bought a bottle of mineral water and rushed back to the spot where he had left Jesus.
He was sure that he would be able to go near the Christ and give Him the bottle of water. He wanted to go near Christ, but an invisible force was resisting him. May be, Lord himself wanted him to stay away. It was quite strange to him. He could not understand why only he was being kept from approaching the Christ while others were mocking at Him and literally pushing Him away from their ways.
The pursuit of Lord Christ continued but, ultimately, the priest lost sight of Jesus in the crowd.

Chapter One: Initial Signs
Born and brought up in a devout Christian family, Mathew Walter assessed almost everything which he saw or came across, during the years of growing up, on the values which were instilled through the Biblical teachings.
People found it amazing that even at the age of seven, one day, a boy of the same age from the neighbourhood snatched boy Mathew’s toy and when Mathew told the boy to return the toy, he slapped Mathew.
