    Michael Ray was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He earned a B.S. and M.Ed. from Hyles-Anderson College and received his Doctorate from Providence Baptist College. Mike has pastored the Hopewell Baptist Church in Napa, California, for twenty-four years. He is a frequent guest speaker at churches, conferences and camps, and teaches at Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, California. He is married to the former Verna Weymouth. They have five children.
