Tales from Frewyn: The Reporter from Marridon
()
About this ebook
A reporter from Marridon, the advanced and allied nation to the north of Frewyn, is dispatched to Diras to meet with the famous Commander and Den Asaan, heroes and saviors of the Two Continents. It would seem to be a simple task, to ask a few questions of the strange woman and giant, but when the reporter slights the king's personal guard, he finds that getting a story to print may be harder than previously conceived.

First Paper Crane Books Smashwords Edition
Introduction
In between writing the numerous Haanta Series novels, I am known to write many short stories, most of which can be read on the Haanta Series website or can be read in the Tales from Frewyn compilations. Some of these short stories are contiguous, leading to small story arcs or even novellas. Some I end up using for the novels, some live on their own.
This story came about when someone asked me to make a character interview for a Haanta Series event. I struggled with the interview for some time and realized that I had to conduct the interview how it would have happened if a reporter had come to Frewyn looking for a story.
Featuring characters from the Haanta Series books 1-6, here is The Reporter from Marridon.
Enjoy.
Chapter 1
The Duchess of Marridon’s visits to Frewyn being more frequent as of late was the subject of much discussion in the Chambers. Each of her returns to the Triumvirate courts supplied fresh gossip for the officiating nobles, and the subject of the highest discussion was Her Grace’s friendship with King Alasdair and her acquaintance with the
