Days Gone By
By Jeffery D Crowe
I would like to dedicate this book of poems to
my wife Trudy and my daughter Trista. For
giving me the courage to put this book
together and put it out to the public. And all the
love, support and help that they gave me
helping me work on it. My love always and
forever. Jeff Crowe.

Make My Way
Up every morning at the break of day,
I've got to make a living got to make my way.
Lord I try and I try, but I barely get by,
Sometimes I want to lay down, just lay down and die.
I've thought about leavin, but it's not in my blood,
And even if I did, it wouldn't do any good.
I guess the mountains are pretty, and the creeks are
small,
But here in the city, you just lay down and crawl.
That's why it's up in the morning, at the break of day,
I've got to make a living, got to make my way.
Get Back Up
Sometimes you hit bottom
Before you get to the top,
And sometimes you think the
Pressure ain't ever gonna stop.
But you got to keep reaching
Don't never give in,
And if you fall down
Get up and try it again.
Cause everybody dreams
Of having it all,
And it don't really matter
How many times you fall.
Pissed Man
Here I sit, I'm all alone,
I need someone, to call my own.
Yesterday is gone, and
