    About this ebook

    Inside the Earth humans mine pieces of flesh called Completeness. There's a piece for every individual on the planet. Everyone is born with a hollow in their bodies. When their hollows are filled with completeness it brings about euphoria. It's a life altering event.

    The odds of finding your Completeness weren't great and people like Richard Kean became complete through living. He's proud he hasn't been waiting around for it and he and his late wife Shelia raised their daughter Joyce with the same attitude.

    He thought he was complete and together until a Filler comes to his door carrying a valise.

    What Richard doesn't know is that the Filler doesn't bring flesh to complete him. This Filler brings Completeness for his daughter and this disturbs him even more.

    Includes two complete bonus short short stories:
    "Pining Away In The Heat Of The Sun" and "Eternity Serves Fate."

      The Filler who came to me was a woman and she wore a blue robe that seemed as vibrant as the sky. Her abdomen was exposed within the gold sash wrapped around her waist to reveal her alabaster skin, naval, and hollow filled with almond colored flesh. Her filled hollow looked like a second bellybutton, an outie the size of a silver dollar.

      I held the door, staring at her on my doorstep and at the black valise she carried. A breeze ruffled her robe. The late afternoon sun warmed my face and I perspired. With my finger I traced the ridgeline of my own hollow through the soft cotton of my shirt. I imagined in her black bag she carried Completeness, the lump of flesh to fill and complete me.

      Are you Richard Kean? the Filler asked. Her eyes shone with ethereal lucidity. Her face glowed.
