      There have been times while reviewing submissions to our magazine that I have been shocked to find that a particular submission has not received higher ratings from our visitors. Other times I have felt that certain submissions did not deserve as high a rating as they received. I have always felt strongly that allowing our website visitors to read, rate and comment on the submissions we receive not only creates a stronger magazine by providing a consensus of opinion from a variety of voices and reading tastes, but also allows for a greater amount of much needed feedback to the writer than he or she may be able to receive from a single overworked editor up against a deadline.
