About this ebook

Have you ever heard a door creak open in the middle of the night when you knew everyone was sleeping? Is there a cold spot in your house that never seems to warm? Does it leave you with a feeling of dread every time you pass through it? Ghostly footsteps in your hallway, or maybe even whispering voices when you are home alone?

This mini-novella is a collage of short stories about a few of the otherworldly encounters I've experienced. Although they are not movie worthy, you may find them interesting. All the stories are %100 true. Nothing has been added for dramatic effect.

    Forward

After several months of contemplation and numerous requests for more ghost stories, I’ve finally given in and decided to add on to the original Haunted. I suppose after releasing the first volume that this next couldn’t possibly make me look any crazier than I already do to many of you. And if by chance I have managed that particular feat, I caution you to remember...there are many events and occurrences in this world which scientists cannot explain. Do you really want them to? If every last miraculous thing can be rationalized away, haven’t we truly lost the magic of the unknown?

The additional story incorporated into this novella is, to the best of my knowledge, a truthful accounting of a paranormal experience. The only person who knows for sure is the storyteller. I have known her for many years and have no reason to believe that anything she’s relayed to me is exaggerated in any way. I’ll leave you to make up your own mind in that area. Please keep in mind, these stories are being relayed to you in the manner they were told to me.

I’m sure most would say the tales within are not movie worthy, however, you might find them intriguing. To protect the identities of those involved, the names of people, towns, and businesses have been changed.

    Dedication

For my grandchildren. When you get to that place in your life where fairytales and fantastic adventures seem completely unbelievable, read this and remember: There is still magic in this world. As long as we haven’t learned the meaning and essence of every last thing...magic survives.

I’ve made many mistakes in my life. In my youth, it seemed I’d barely learn from one colossal blunder before running headlong into another. One of the most ridiculous slip-ups I’ve ever made happened in 1991.

Shortly after a particularly nasty divorce, I moved into a quaint little apartment in Bluffton, Indiana with my eighteen-month old daughter. The units were brand new and
