Teresa needed this vacation more than ever. She had just come off of a long stint of unemployment and living with family and friends and she needed some space. It wasn’t that she didn’t love them; it was simply that she was tired of being surrounded by happily married couples.

Teresa had never had any problems getting a man, just getting the right man. She was tired of all of the men that were too good and no good. It just couldn’t be this hard for her to find a man that was just good enough for her.

When she was younger, Teresa had a long list of requirements. Over the years, that list had dwindled to breathing and working. She was ashamed to admit that she sometimes left the requirement of being single off of her list. It was hard being a single female in 2012.

But now, Teresa had paid her family back and had most of her debt under control. So, when her sister offered her an audio book, Teresa turned her down.

It wasn’t until after Cheryl helped her pack her car did Teresa realize she had slipped an audio book cd into her car. The book was a romance by an author that Teresa had heard about. The author
