About this ebook

Bethany Parker Harrison, wife, mother and travel journalist, has it all until her world falls apart, when son Robert, a rookie cop, is diagnosed with Leukemia. Desperate to find a bone marrow donor, Bethany reveals a love affair before marriage. Another secret, one that catapulted her into an expedient marriage to Michael, takes the reader on a journey of passion and fear.

Leaving Michael in pain, anger and doubt, Bethany escapes to Periwinkle Cottage along the remote coast of Nova Scotia. Gregory C. Barrington, a former U.S. senator and the one who defined passion for Bethany twenty seven years earlier, arrives throwing her into further turmoil. An undeniable truth alarms and confuses Bethany. Leaving on assignment in Italy, she distances herself from the two men pursuing her: one in the name of love the other haunted by obsession.

A lovable family and no-nonsense friend, infuse this dramatic love story with a blend of warmth and humor. Come, meet these unforgettable characters and discover what love is. And what it is not.
