Chapter - Introduction
I teach a unique skill: How to Say NO. I began coaching people through the process of learning how to say no and applying it in their life in 2006, as a staff member for an elite training program that was all about taking on the challenges of moving forward in your life.
My personal qualifications to coach this subject really began at the age of 5 when I got my first artificial leg. Due to a congenital birth defect, my right leg did not grow. Growing up with physical disability exposed me to many people who attempted to define what they thought I could or couldn’t be and should or shouldn’t do. Doctors, nurses, my parents, other family members, friends and complete strangers all had an opinion on what my life should look like and for some reason; most of them thought they were helping me by sharing it with me.
