Introduction.
The most common culinary definition of an herb is a plant that can be used as seasoning in the kitchen. Most food would taste bland unappealing if some kind of seasoning were not used. While salt is the most common additive for food, herbs serve to accentuate the flavor of beef, pork, poultry, lamb and fish.
