    Then a reaper uses her closet to cross over from the Spirit Realm. It has a message for her. Just when she's about to join her father at his school for hunters she finds out they are dying on their birthdays. Something is killing them, slipping past locked doors, never leaving a trace of evidence, and her birthday is only two months away.

    Becoming a hunter isn't exactly her dream come true. She's doing it for her mother, for revenge, for justice. Nothing is going to get in her way, least of all love. Then she looks up into a pair of jungle green eyes and everything changes.

It was fun and fabulous book and I cannot believe that I did not read it sooner! That is first and foremost.... secondly I love, love, love Bay-Lee and Nick's characters!!! I can only say one thing, and that is that this book takes off from the very beginning. There was no waiting for it to "get good".... it just was...... Basically... you can read the blurb for the book, here on Library Thing...... so I will not get into too much detail.... but you have a Rock Star hunter, Bad Boy (Nick)...... and then the female character is a bad ass Hunter (descendent of the Van Helsing's), literally....... well technically she is considered "Bait" until she passes to the level of Hunter, which Bay-Lee accomplishes in an extremely short amount of time. This book really was just a great, fun and awesome read!! I love a book that I cannot put down from the beginning..... and that is exactly what happened with Bait, by KC Blake. Nicely written and beautifully edited for an indie author.... and LOTS of mystery, tortured romance and lots of fighting to keep you entertained! CANNOT wait for Hunter....... which I think is out in October...keeping my fingers crossed :). I will be adding it to my "to-read", and "Cannot-wait-to-read" lists asap! I need to know what happens all around and what happens to Bay-Lee and Nick! Lovers of YA/NA and paranormal novels will love this book!!!! (LoP)
