Learning another language is never fast, but the Fifty Ways to Practice series will speed things up by showing you how to practice more efficiently and effectively both inside and outside the classroom. It is useful for beginning through advanced levels.
You will learn 50 ways to practice and improve reading skills. By applying these methods, you will read faster and better, and remember information longer. You do not need to be living in an English-speaking country or be currently taking an English class to use this book. However, students who are already in a class can also use this book to study and learn more effectively.

Belinda Young-Davy
Belinda Young-Davy (Ph.D. Linguistics, University of Oregon; M.A. Linguistics, University of Oregon) has experience teaching English in Mexico, Japan, and the United States. Her professional interests include acquisition of prepositions and other semantically based aspects of language learning; and ESL in higher education assessment, with an emphasis on writing and teacher training. She is a member of ORTESOL, TESOL, and the Linguistic Society of America.
