Introduction – The Aquarius Man’s Personality

Most of us have been confused by the Aquarius men that attract us by their amicable, easy-going style. The Aquarius man is simple but not simple-minded. He is easier to catch for a moment, but he loses interest quickly.

Aquarius men are notoriously jealous and possessive.

From what we’ve seen of the Aquarius man though, this should not be surprising. The Aquarius man invests in you -- not just any woman, but you as a person. He can be blinded by jealously, and be overly possessive, but he has opened up to you – however little – and he wants to repeat this process as little as possible.

While this possessiveness can foster character flaws, it can be used to everyone’s advantage. When unprovoked by unnecessary change or other threats (real or imaginary), the Aquarius man naturally wants a healthy relationship. Honesty

Like everyone else, honesty for the Aquarius man is a matter of character. Aquarius men are known for being dishonest in relationships, but even so, you may be better off with an Aquarius.

They certainly have a reputation for honesty, and the more positive qualities of their astrology does encourage it. Do not imagine that a dishonest Aquarian is merely being who he is -- he can be better.

Dishonesty is sometimes related to his sense of freedom, which is very important to him. He lies as a declaration of independence – he will not follow the rules all the time, but he’s not above pretending to do so. Unfortunately for him (and good for you), he’s not a very good liar.

Perhaps he wants to be caught in his lie so you will recognize the freedom that he craves. He will not tolerate control, and he’ll lie, cheat, beg and steal to protect it, even if he is given a false sense of it when he’s out of control.

5 – The Aquarius Man in Relationships

The Aquarius man has many good qualities that favor longer relationships. He is a free spirit but usually likes to invest in people.

Unfortunately, this investment is conditional.

Thankfully, the conditions are easy to meet, if you are into him. At the same time, and this is important, it doesn’t matter if you meet the conditions or not: it matters if he thinks that you meet the conditions. So often women wonder why their Aquarius man leaves them or loses interest so suddenly.

His faithfulness can be destroyed by his jealousy if he thinks that he cannot trust you. His interest will wane if he thinks that you are controlling him. The great thing is that many of us can draw out the best in him and never worry about that.

And the good news: the Aquarius man is faithful to his partner. This quality is of course closely related to his jealous nature.

He made an effort to get to know you, he likes what he has found, and he doesn’t want to repeat this process. Even if you don’t understand how he could do this without speaking all that much, he may be more invested in the relationship than you could possibly realize.

Fortunately, it’s easy to keep an Aquarius man interested.

The irony is this – the more jealous he becomes, it can actually demonstrate a growing distrust in the continuance of the relationship. He can’t invest in a person that he cannot trust.

An Aquarius man may seem distant -- or actually be distant -- during the course of a relationship. Remember, he might be recovering from investing in his last girlfriend, or is simply unused to opening up.

If he’s interested in you, he may not pursue you. This may seem weird, but thankfully he is the kind of guy that you can call and checkup on without worrying about how it will look. You may have to abandon the idea that he doesn’t like you if he doesn’t ask you out again or call you back.

He’s the type of guy that can get completely absorbed in his work and forget about the most beautiful woman in the world, especially if you aren’t having some pretty amazing sex.

So he may pull away but you fortunately you can call him without making him suspicious. If you want him to continue to be interested in you, any welcome interest that you show him will encourage a relationship.

Here’s what you don’t do… Don’t be frustrated if he calls you out of the blue and asks you to dinner. It’s not that he disrespects your busy schedule -- he doesn’t like schedules at all.

Don’t give any indication that you’re seeking to change this about him: this is his most sacred defining characteristic. Don’t fall apart during a conversation – he respects disagreement if it is reasoned and intelligent. Don’t react harshly to jealousy – criticism in the heat of the moment will only add fuel to the fire.

Be creative – compliment his creativity in and out of the bedroom.

Be courageous – he likes a woman who knows what she wants and is unafraid to chase it.

Be sexy – you’re not going to scare this one away with confident or aggressive sexuality.

Getting Him Back

Aquarius guys are pretty much the easiest guys in the world to get back given certain conditions…

You may have a disagreement, but he has some pretty amazing qualities and you want him back but, if he’s left you for another woman – forget about it.

If you’ve just drifted apart and called it off or you had a big fight, you just might be in luck. Because of his faithful nature, he’s likely to listen to you and be reconciled. It’s his nature to forgive, and if they’ve opened up to you at all, they want to keep you around.

It is very important to remember that there are some exceptions:

1) If you’ve actually betrayed his trust;

2) If you were neurotic about changing his habits;

3) Or if you ignored his sexual needs…

It is critical that you know that these exceptions may be real or imaginary. You may not have given him a reason not to trust you, and you may not have actually been neurotic about changing him, and you may not have ignored him sexually.

But the fact remains that there is no reason for him to get back with you if he thinks can’t trust you, he thinks that you want to change him, and if he can’t have sex with you.

Now there’s getting him back and getting him back. You might be able to initially reignite the passion for a short time with some well-placed cleavage and a come-hither grin, but that’s not really winning him over again.

If you’re able to convince him that he can trust you, you’re not going to change him, and you’ll have sex with him, you stand a chance of getting him back. But you may not be getting him back.

Unless he’s able to trust you, be free from change, and have sex -- all three -- you haven’t gotten him back. It’s not fair to settle for less and the relationship is not what it could be unless you have all three components in place.
