      The following plays have been written with the aim of portraying the Easter story from a diffierent angle. These plays can be performed with puppets or actors and are suitable for an Easter service or an open air event.

      If the governor hears:

      Written from the point of Pilate and the many visits he recieved during the Easter event.

      Characters:

      Pilate - wearing a toga

      Pilate's Servant

      Guard - Roman soldier

      Jews: - Can be simply 2 Jews or more depending on availability of actors.

      Joseph - wealthy jew

      Certurion - Roman soldier with red cape

      Priests & Pharisees - can be the same characters as Jew 1 & 2 or more than just 2 people depending on the availability of actors.

      Jesus is Alive!

      Written from the point of view of the traders in the temple starting with Jesus
