SILENT LOVE
Silent love
Kept inside
Hid from the
World outside
A little child
In her arms
Formed of love
Of another in her arms
But she cannot say
Those simple words
To the man
Who knows the words
For he stands
On the stairs above
And also has
A silent love
LOVE STRUCK
Stars shining down
On a lonely little town
Love struck boy, little girl
Sitting silently together
The girl not noticing the other
Until one day, as they get older
She sees a boy turned man
And is love struck as well
I HEAR YOUR VOICE
I hear your voice
As it calls to me
From far away
Across the sea
I hope to see
You once again
For my love for you
Lives forever more
You left my side
To sail the sea
To sell your ware
You promised me
That you'd return
Your love for me
Forever more
But now I see
You with someone else
That I never knew
Your hand in hers
Her head by yours
And you whisper
In her ear
My love for you
Is no more
Then you appeared
At my door
A ring in hand
My heart does soar
For now I see
Why you were with her
To buy a ring
To give to me
My love for you
Is now renewed
You sailed the sea
But one more time
To earn enough
To be wed to me
And now I sit
And wait for you
