1. How many Isley Brothers were in the family music group?

The group began to tour on the gospel circuit with their parents as backing musicians. Son, Vernon Isley was killed in a bicycle accident and the group disbanded for a time. The remaining three brothers asked permission to perform secular music. This was ok with the Isley parents and they had their first hit soon after.
