About this ebook

Are we predestined, or not? Can we loose our salvation, or not? Can we be liberal in our considerations about sin or do we need to be conservative? Is it correct to demythologize the Bible, or should we take it exactly for what it says? And the list goes on and on. Christians seem to disagree on so many issues that non-Christians could easily look at Christianity wondering if we even know what we are believing. Debate after debate is raging through Christianity, causing the body of Christ to be split into dozens and dozens of pieces. It is time that we as Christians gain a deeper understanding about such debates.

Free From Bondage Ministry

Free From Bondage Ministry was started just a few short years ago. As a newly ordained minister, I felt that too many people were tinkering around with God's Word. Translating it into what made them comfortable, rather than how God's Word could help them be accountable and truly righteous. And the stakes are too high to be tinkering. It is your eternal life you are gambling with.Because there is a distinct difference between saying to believe in God, and acting as a believer in God. And that difference could make all the difference for your salvation. The message from Free From Bondage Ministry is simple, yet not easy. But we have seen "miracles" that even many with a strong faith discard as "impossible". Which made us aware that the message we got from God needed to be brought to a bigger public. Hence these books. There is more information available at our website: www.freefrombondage.weebly.comAnd yes, we are a very small ministry. No bells and whistles, no fancy stuff. We use what comes our way to spread God's Word. So referrals are highly appreciated.May God bless you,Free From Bondage Ministry.

Thank you for respecting the hard work of Free From Bondage Ministry.

Free From Bondage Ministry has published many books for your benefit. First a series of nineteen short books, on many different subjects. These books are called God's manual on......... We want to inform the readers that the basic concept in this series of nineteen books is the same in each and every of these book in the God's manual on.... series, with just a slight emphasis on the subject at hand. In this series, you will find a lot of repetition from one book to another with one basic concept that needs to be understood before moving on to other Free From Bondage materials.

Once you understand the basic concept, we recommend to start on our other books, MP3's and our weekly newsletter. They will provide in depth information on that basic concept.

As I have received many comments on my writing style and grammar, I do want to make every reader aware in advance that English is not my language of origin. Please do not let the current absence of a professional editing service be your reason for discarding the Free From Bondage Ministry messages. After all, my weakness, His strength. If you let my weakness in the English language discourage you from learning more about God's will, then just guess Who is telling you.... to be discouraged. Besides that, Christ told us to go and make disciples. He did not tell us we had to be perfect in the English language before we could go and do that.

If the books or other materials helped you, we would appreciate a referral and/or a donation (see details on www.freefrombondage.weebly.com). That is the only means through which our ministry expands.

    Can We.......?

    Introduction.

Have you noticed? That Christians are divided on so many parts of Christianity that it makes your head spin. I can only think how non-believers look at us Christians and say: What kind of religion is that.... They can't even figure out for themselves how it works. And honestly, if I look at Christianity, I can't blame non-Christians for thinking that way. Not only because it is not their own thinking (someone is telling them to stay away from that Christianity thing....), but also because there is a level of truth in there that is dangerous.

Consider that Jesus Christ's body was beaten beyond recognition, and pierced, but not a single bone was broken. His body was still one piece. The only thing that was not part of His body anymore was His blood. That was spilled for our sins. But if we look at the body of Christ today, the church, and how unlike all the different congregations and denominations are preaching, Christ's body is not one anymore. It is split in hundreds of pieces, more as if Christ was put to death by a close-up explosion, and His body is spread out in hundreds of pieces. That is contradicting Scripture.

So what are we talking about? We are talking about all the debates that are going on within Christianity. Are we predestined or do we get there by faith? Can we loose our salvation or not? Do works, and what are works, have an impact on our faith and salvation or not? Are future sins automatically forgiven or not? Is the Law still important or can we discard it as done with? Is the Bible true in every detail or do we need to read some parts as descriptive and do we have to demythologize the Bible? Can we be liberal in our thinking and just sin along because Christ covers us or do we have responsibilities towards God and Christ? Is just saying to have faith enough or do we have to live by it? Are there demonic hierarchies or is it an unorganized rebel army?

And consider that most of the debates spark debates within themselves. Just as an example: We see how within Calvinism a new movement is generated called something like super-Calvinism. This is where one considers oneself so invincible because of being predestined that there is no need for Jesus Christ anymore. Or in another debate we see churches ordaining people to preach within their church, who openly live in sin, so that their sinful life can be a testimony how much Christ's sacrifice will free us. That one can openly and blatantly continue to live in sin and yet be saved in Christ. An attitude that contradicts about ninety-nine point nine percent of the New Testament, but could be justified by maybe a handful of verses. And we run into interesting conversations such as published in our book We Are Being Had.... But By Who?.

And I could probably double or triple this list of debates that
