    CHAPTER 1 - ABOUT KEVIN MCNABB

    In 1985 after 5 years in the corporate world I decided to start a network marketing business because I realized that if I didn’t start doing something for myself, I would be at the mercy of a boss for the rest of my life.

    So like most network marketers starting out, I began building my business part-time.

    As the months went by, my checks didn’t get any bigger than a few hundred dollars a month and I was becoming very frustrated with the direction that my business was taking.

    It was at this time that I realized that if I was going to have a large network marketing business, I was going to have to change as an individual to be able to help other people on a personal level.

    The Beginning of My Personal Development Journey

    In late 1985 I began hearing about this up and coming personal development star named Tony Robbins and began to learn as much about him as I possibly could.

    After attending several early seminars of his I was introduce to a philosophy that has guided me ever since. That philosophy is, The Past Does Not Equal the Future!

    Even though I was 20 years of age at the time, I knew that I had a lot of personal growth ahead of me, so I took the advice of my new mentor, Tony Robbins and began to read as much as I could on personal development. I turned my car into a University on wheels and listened exclusively to personal development cassettes and more recently CD’s. I attended hundreds of seminars in both personal development and network marketing with one goal in mind, If I can just get one good idea from this event, it will be worth it!

    I learned very early in my network marketing career that in order to build a large business you need to create successful personal relationships with people. The only way to be able to work with a number of different personalities is to greatly improve your own people skills continuously.

    As I continued to build my traditional career through the latter part of the 1980’s and into the early part of the 1990’s it was becoming quite evident that if I wanted to get more out of my network marketing business, I was going to need to transfer some of the time I was using in my traditional career over to my network marketing business.

    For the last five years of the 1990’s I made a conscious effort to spend 75% of my available time building my network marketing business and only giving 25% of my time to someone else to help build their business, in other words a job.

    SIDENOTE: JOB REALLY STANDS FOR JUST OVER BROKE!

    The result of that decision and taking massive action, I was able to retire from my traditional career in 2000 and work my network marketing business on a full-time basis.

    During the next nine years my network marketing business developed quite dramatically and expanded into a true global business with leadership developed in 37 countries.

    But during this time I kept having this feeling that something was wrong… I was tired of this old traditional network marketing model. I didn’t want to attend hotel meetings or meet people in coffee shops anymore. I felt that there had to be a better way of building a network marketing business.

    2009 – Taking My Network Marketing Business Online

    I began to investigate how network marketing could be done responsibly on the Internet. I came across a lot of very poor options but continued to believe that an online marketing system for network marketing must exist somewhere out on the Internet.

    In February 2009 I was introduced to Mike Dillard’s product called Magnetic Sponsoring.

    This product is what I had been trying to uncover and articulate to others for years without success. This new approach to building my network marketing business was amazing but did not sit well with my up line at the time.

    You see, my up line was used to me sponsoring a consistent number of people each month and that changed drastically and they didn’t like the reason why.

    I had stopped chasing people and started to attract the type of people that I wanted to work with. This is when my network marketing business became fun again.

    I became a huge fan of the resources that Mike Dillard was producing and started to apply the strategies that I found in Magnetic Sponsoring and MLM Traffic Formula and watched my business really start to take off.

    During the remainder of 2009 and into 2010, I had the privilege of partnering with 5 Internet Marketing experts that have shown me how to absolutely explode my network marketing business.

    This explosion has allowed me the opportunity get back to what I love, which is helping others succeed in what they want to do.

    27 years later and counting and as a result of my success in network marketing which is directly the result of my passion for personal development, I have had the awesome opportunity of meeting a number of the top personal development experts in the profession, as well as, share the stage with quite a number of them over the years.

    I am not an expert in personal development, network marketing or Internet Marketing. I am just a regular guy with over 27 years experience in leadership and relationship development.

    This experience is the foundation of my network marketing business. This foundation powered by the strength of the Internet has allowed me to build a solid network marketing business that is both offline and online.
