      In the land of Captain Moonlight

      In the old days we were mostly musing

      Of what would be. There were immediate

      Quick fleeting pleasures, girls for the choosing

      But great adventures – more – permanence, waited.

      There is a thread connecting up events

      It is found by following strongest impulses.

      When his bride to him finally assents

      Her pleasure he’s cast about almost too long.

      How can his resting inclinations revive

      Now after wandering the park of youthfulness?

      He goes away to discover how, now live

      Again, the course for home can be set.

      It is a long way from the young’s playground

      Too far from all that is familiar yet new

      It is not cold but blustery and a new sound

      Plays the ears, the silence of sand emptiness.

      In the land of Captain Moonlight, vast,

      Kangaroos far off leap away speeding.

      His son and daughter into here have been cast

      To grow on lonely beaches under a hot sun.

      Welcome to my world

      I am a most simple woman, welcome.

      You note, like my blonde sister of a year before

      -who you saw watching to be pure wholesome sure –

      I am only myself. Most fetching indeed.

      We have been chosen as the supreme

      Ask us for anything in a blue sky dream

      We deliver it gladly as is our vocation

      Chosen for a year to represent the very best.

      Magic my blonde sister, demure as me,

      We float about the world bestowing

      Hopes in hearts long drab, there is
