    For me, my early life culminated with the great rebellion of the sixties. Ending up as a fine artist and heavy user of pot and acid, I needed help. I met Jesus in 1974, and my life began, for real. The Lord gave me an amazing Godly woman for my wife in 1976. I became a graphic designer, font designer, and desktop publisher. In 1991, I began teaching printing and digital publishing. That resulted in writing dozens of books and booklets about the practical processes, using InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. In 2009, I began the transformation into an author of fiction. By the end of 2022, I had 17 novels in five series, as I have developed my craft. This book is #20, and is the third book of the sixth series. I’m using Christian contemporary speculative fiction with some Biblical romance to share stories about the reality of how Jesus touches our day-to-day lives, while being strongly focused upon Biblical truth. I put the stereotypical Bible quoters in the same category as robo-callers. I attempt to reveal Jesus within a realistic world sharing my experiences. The goal is to reveal Jesus as a loving Creator building people into what they are designed to be. I currently assume time is running short, and the final harvest is here.

      This is dedicated to all my brothers & sisters in the Lord who have been blinded by the public school system as I was for the first 66 years of my life.

      Why this book?

      Having come to my senses only recently, I am overwhelmed with the glory of His creation. I find it breathtaking that He made this incredible creation simply to produce a people for Himself with whom he could relate personally and intimately.

      What really surprised me is that all the evidence points toward a very short-term creation—about 7,000 years or so. After that time He is planning to do the truly good creation for Himself and His people. He calls that heaven.

      Being excited, creative, and a writer, this book was a natural for me. It’s not a scientific academic work, but a fun read sharing some of the joy I have found as His creation became much more wonderful to me by discovering His active hand in shaping and reshaping His work.

      I have to thank Dennis R. Peterson for getting me going, Roger D. Melquist for pushing me along into the realization that science is not at all put off by creation, and Dr. Walt Brown for his meticulous work in developing the hydroplate theory to explain the flood and so much more. One of the most exciting things to me was the explanation of comets and a lot of the other debris and water found throughout the solar system in which we live.1 But there is much more than that.

      I remember when my wife, Pat, and I went to the Grand Canyon in 1995. It was an amazing and spiritually overwhelming experience. It was obvious to me then that what I was seeing was not millions of years of erosion, but a catastrophic gushing of water from somewhere. Dr. Brown was also fascinated and I am convinced that the Lord led him to what really happened.² But all of this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the marvels the Lord produced with the Flood. We are coming up on another time of massive changes to the face of the Earth. I want to talk about what is expected to happen by the time the Lord touches down as King. It really is exciting to see the Lord’s hand at work.

      In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. [GENESIS 1:1]

      Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising." [Isaiah 60:1–3 NLT]

      The day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. [II Peter 3:10–13 NASB]

      A 7,000 year short-term creation

      Getting rid of the Godless reality

      As a former science aficionado and assumed evolutionist, I have been amazed at how vigorous, vibrant, and exciting my world has become now that I can see the Lord’s hand in it even more clearly. Creationism and the Flood drama have changed my everyday perception of the world for the better. More than that, I am increasingly aware of how precious our time is here on this planet created for us by God and designed to bring us into close personal relationship with our Creator.

      At the other end of the spectrum of human existence, my studies and teaching of Biblical prophecy becomes much more immediate and real. Once you understand that the purpose of creation was to produce friends and companions for God—a true bride for the Lord of lords and King of kings, our time here on the planet becomes a rich time of preparation for that marriage.

      But it’s not just about the coming arrival of our King. After His millennial reign, this creation will be dissolved in fire and reborn into the incomprehendably wonderful new creation. A little over a thousand years from now, we will have an opportunity to be in the New Jerusalem with our entire family of believers in the one true God.

      What is coming upon us is nearly as massive as what happened in Noah’s day

      Between creation and recreation, this planet is going to go through two massive, though limited redesigns. As we discuss the unimaginably large changes seen in the Flood, you need to be aware that a similar level of global change is coming very soon. The changes prophesied by Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, John, and many of the so-called minor prophets are massive. As in the flood of Noah’s day, the face of our earth will be changed radically before our King Jesus returns to reign from Jerusalem.

      It’s an exciting time to be alive!

      Jesus has said he is coming back soon. He will be coming back to a radically remodeled world. We will talk about some of these changes after we cover creation and the flood. It is a thrilling prospect. We have the opportunity to join with Jesus in ruling and governing this cleaned and revived ecosystem with its brand-new landscapes and wonderful government ruled by a loving, righteous king.

      Never has it been more important for us to throw off the shackles of our public education and emerge into the glorious light of the truth of what our creator has done for us—the focus of His Creation.

      What I am trying to do

      This is not a scientific proof of creationism. That battle has already been fought and the Lord won. His Bible still stands as His Word written. Jesus is still His Word Incarnate.

      The bottom line is that Jesus said,

      And He answered and said, "Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, [MATTHEW 19:4 NASB]

      These are among several references by Jesus to the creation. He seemed to just mention the creation in an almost off hand manner—as if it were assumed. If Jesus had no problem with creation, why should we? Certainly we can’t say He didn’t know what he was talking about.

      It’s been a long hard fight with many casualties

      What we need to recognize is that it has been a concentrated effort by our enemy and his underlings to destroy people before they have a chance to become members of Body of Christ, a part of the Church age. Because, as you know, the Church age is coming to an end very soon.

      It really began a long time ago with what we have all been told was our emergence
