Gerald Morgan was born and brought up in Girvan, a small harbour town on Scotland's south-west coast. He attended Sacred Heart High School in Girvan from 1966 until 1971. Gerald is married to Gina and has one daughter, Sara, and one grandson, Daniel. He enjoys writing poetry, listening to music, reading biographies, walking and supporting Ayr United. Among his favourite poets are Robert Burns, Bob Dylan, Roger McGough and Spike Milligan
