I have been working as a freelancer for nearly years and have worked exclusively at home for over five years. Finding jobs are a little bit challenging and with small children nearly impossible. I have been working as a ghost writer for ebooks sold on Amazon or Clickbank. I get paid once and try to find another client to repeat the process. I have written books on how to make money on social networks, books about webdesigns and even search engine optimization. I thought that I should give it a try for myself, and I have done so by release my first of many Hiring at Home.

A LOT of information pertaining to websites offering work at home jobs.
A few typos, but nobody's perfect!!
Being so giving with the work at home sites, their description, even explaining the areas they hire from, makes up for the typos for sure!!

Busy Mom Finds Balance between Career and Home Life

Like me most mothers dread the day that they would have to finally go back out to work after being at home with their child for the duration of their maternity leave.

I took the time to research work from home opportunities and came across junk piled on top of nonsense mixed in with scams. I finally found the right combination that worked for me and I decided to share it with mothers who want to stay at home with their family.

My son is two years old and I have been home for a little longer than that. I had been working as a web designer and I did not find it fulfilling. I was behind a computer all day long writing codes. I was making life easier for club owners and promoters and other businesses that I could never participate in. What was most depressing was that I worked on projects I was ashamed of and that my baby sometimes could not see.

I decided to create this website for myself. I want to show you how to find employment at home, or if you decide that a business is what interests you I can show you how to join an existing business or even start one of your own.

Work from Home Checklist

Legitimate companies do hire work-at-home agents for call centers and data entry. However, like mystery shopping, work-at-home data entry and call center jobs can be a ploy for other work at home scams. Con artists use them as bait to find victims. Beware of recruiters you must pay to find one of these jobs. Also business start-up kits are often sold to those wanting to get into this line of work.

While there is no single call center job description because every company has different requirements for its agents in different positions, there are certain assets that a call center applicant can bring to the job. And, there are a few very basic qualifications that most every call center company would require. Home call centers often have stricter requirements than office-based ones.

Basic call center job requirements:

Must be 18 years old. Home call center companies will not hire minors, though a few office-based ones will.

Must have a high school diploma. A GED is usually OK. Some companies may prefer some college.

Customer service experience. Virtual call centers usually want some experience in customer service but this can be in retail or a non-phone job.

Legally able to work in the U.S., Canada or the country in which you are residing. Home call centers that hire independent contractors may not require this. But employment call center jobs--both
