About this ebook

This is a book about life. It's for those that have lived and those that don't know what they are living for. It is for the believers and the underacheivers. It is a very good read and you won't be able to put it down. I dare one to say they didn't see themselves amongst these passages of short stories, poems, and life. Get ready to go on a journey of discovery,no not about me,but you.

Mary Aggie

My name is Mary Alice Barnes Aggie; and I was raised in Waterloo New York. I am the seventh child of eighteen siblings. These books of poetry and short stories were written by me; through my lengthy communication with the Holy Spirit. I hope these words will inspire, encourage, and open the eyes of believers and non-believers to the reality that God may not only be talking to me, but to you also.

No One Knew the Nights she Cried…

Until the coroner said, your wife has died.

She had hoped her cries wouldn’t have been in vain

For the many years she suffered pain

It’s hard to live with an abuser and even harder without

How do you get through to a man who does nothing but shout.

The stress the strain, and the heartfelt nights

She tried to acknowledge wrong from right

Her soul was in turmoil each and everyday

As she tried to find the words to make everything okay

Fear knew no boundaries the hurt too severe

While trying to find a way of escape out of here

After awhile she really didn’t know what to do

She wondered, How can this man really say, I love you.

Love is confusing when it behaves so wild

It made her wonder if her fantasies were right as a child

She cried so much she couldn’t cry anymore

She wiped so many tears that her eyes became sore

Stress and fear were her only friends

And they proved to be deadly all the way to the end

Like a grain of sand in the desert, is how she felt

That there was no way she would ever get help

Every day she thought; "Today I will take a stand,

Against this wild and accusing jealous man.

But strength is something that comes from within

Weakness was the only feeling she found with him.

    What is Freedom

Freedom is a course on which one travels without limits

One must push for it, pray for it and have faith to achieve it

Freedom is not just a bird flying through the air for even it has restrictions.

It must plan its course without rehearsing in order to fly in formation; it must know when it is time to

leave and seek a more pleasant atmosphere.

It too must know how much food it will take and how much distance it can fly every day in order to

    successfully attain each goal

Though a bird may face many entrapments on its flight, it is wise enough to sense harm and stray from it.

A bird knows how to care for itself and its children. It knows where to go and when to leave.

It doesn’t lie about. it knows before the sun rises is the best time to be free.
