Chapter 1: ALIVE AND AWAKE!
She watched the rise and fall of his chest. She moved closer to him and traced the curve of his lips with her fingernail; carefully examining the texture of his skin, and the facial hair now sprouting from his pores. He appeared so relaxed and peaceful. More than likely it was because he thinks he's in his own bed.
She caressed the soft hairs on his chest, admiring his cute belly button. It was nice to finally see it up close. It was nice to finally have the liberty to touch him at will. She remembered the sneak peek of his stomach one time when he was stretching and his tee shirt rode up. She admired the strength in his hands, and muscle tone concluding with rock solid conviction, that this man is fine!
She had kissed his mouth several times without him knowing, took advantage of him when she took his clothes off, when she put him in bed, and then again when she tied him down.
She took special care of his personal effects; hanging his clothes as she removed them, all of his jewelry neatly on jewelry black velvet pad. She even put the fresh rose he usually wore in his lapel in water. Sniffing the flower thinking the habit was kind of cheesy. But somehow, no matter how corny and pretentious it sounds, he managed to pull it off on a daily basis. Besides, he was going to be pissed enough when he woke up; she didn't want to escalate his fury by being careless with his belongings.
He appeared to be a stickler for detail and somewhat of a compulsive neat freak. Every time she saw Bryon he was impeccably dressed. He was always well synchronized from head to toe; down to the color coordinated roses he wore in his lapel. His attention to detail was painfully obvious, border lining obsessive. Though she was no slob herself, their differences did concern her.
He reminded her of a microwave dinner, while she compared herself to a picnic plate. Let’s just say a picnic plate sometimes masquerading as a microwave dinner. She considered a microwave dinner the kind of guy whose life issues are controlled by keeping them corralled into their separate compartments. By doing this, he could monitor and control their consumption and ensure that each entree' would remain pure and unspoiled by its culinary neighbor. These types of people believe in order; under any circumstances, everything in its place and a place for everything. No option for spontaneity.
She, on the other hand, fancied herself a picnic plate; with all the entree’s piled precariously on a paper plate. The plate itself is subject to crack, bend, or break at any moment. She pondered her analogy for a moment; could it be the thrill of living life on the edge that gives picnic plates their rush. They actually live with the fact that at any time the very foundation that their life is built on could disintegrate right before their eyes.
Picnic plate entrees always seem to challenge physical boundaries. Having no respect for personal space; the food always tends to lie next to, on top, under, or inside of each other. Maybe living this way, was a desperate attempt to satisfy some deep dark need to bond with other human beings. At any rate, that is just what she had planned for Bryon.
It was about time he experienced a little picnic in his life. Maybe force feeding him a meal he has no control over will revolutionize his life. A
