About this ebook
John Rêve and his wife Mary are fighting to stay alive in the harsh conditions of the post-apocalyptic world. Burning sunlight by day, and freezing toxic rain at night make living day to day a struggle. They have one hope for survival, the location of a secret government bunker that has food, water, shelter, and most importantly, medicine. Mary is sick. She contracted an illness that seems to plague most of the survivors in the present day.
They have traveled hundreds of miles and live on a single can of food each day to try to find this secret bunker.
The key to their survival also holds top secret projects once heavily guarded by the military. One the secret labs deep underground was a testing lab for time travel.
John must travel through time ultimately to try and save his wife and the remaining survivors in the bunker. He arrives in a futuristic civilization and he tries to blend in. As he begins gathering the supplies he needs to return to the past he meets a woman that looks and sounds exactly like his wife. In his confusion he decides that he must meet her and find out why he is drawn to her.

Thank you for respecting the hard work of this author.
This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.
Most of my story ideas start as vivid dreams that either reoccur frequently enough that it feels like I am watching a miniseries inside my own head or are interesting enough that I just have to put it down on paper. This is one such dream that I just had to share. I may revisit this plot and premise again in the future. If you see it again in book form one day don’t worry I will be adding to it significantly.

Bunker 21D
It was late in the evening and I was exhausted. The room seemed to explode around me. I was engulfed in electricity and noise all at once and everything went blank.
Was this time travel?
I appeared inside a dense city. I was not expecting to see civilization again so quickly after so long an absence. Somehow, things must have returned to normal, eventually. When I left the last place I was in, everything was desolate and more to the point… I was alone.
This city was advanced. Everything looked as if nothing had ever happened. No war, no plague, no desolation, nothing seemed to have hit this place at all. Either I had lost my mind or the machine worked. I stood there watching everything with awe. I realized soon enough that this was not the best way to tackle my situation; people were staring at me with obvious distaste. I looked down at myself and realized that I looked, in their eyes, homeless and destitute. I checked that I had everything with me still. Perhaps something in my belongings would be worth something here. I looked around the multitude of buildings and signs and quickly headed in the direction that looked most promising.
I walked into a shop and after a strange once over look from the middle age shop attendant behind the counter, he nodded and smiled slightly. Welcome, what can I do for you today?
Hi there, do you buy and sell gold?
I asked him.
I like to sell it more than buy it, but yes I do both. Gold, silver, rare minerals, you name it, I will trade in it.
He said, as he looked me up and down. I imagine that he thinks he can make plenty of profit off of me.
Believe it or not I just came into the city and I need to sell some things and get some currency.
"Well, our rates are posted there on the sign behind me for the various minerals that I buy. Take a look. Once the transaction is complete, I sell back at a
