About this ebook

A girl with an unknown destiny.

A boy from a hidden world.

When Celeste starts at a new school in a small, Kansas town, she hears whispering voices, has vivid nightmares, and swarms of blackbirds follow her every move. She is oddly drawn to aloof Rylan, the other new student who has his own secrets.

The exact moment she turns seventeen, she wakes to a bedroom full of strange creatures, purple light emanating from her hands, and Rylan breaking in through her bedroom window.
He knows what she is . . .

Intriguing and deeply romantic, RUA is page-turning YA novel with a supernatural twist.

Let me start off by saying...I Love This Cover!. It's what caught my attention and what made me want to read it. But, I didn't want to buy the actual book, get it, and not like it. So, when I got my kindle, I checked the price..first time, it was about $2.99, then, a few days later, I checked again, I don't know why, but I just did...And, it was FREE! So, naturally, I downloaded the book.

So, after a week or so of having the book, I finally start on it. It was as good as my minimal hopes wanted it to be. It wasn't great, but it did keep my attention.

It had its moments of, Okay, I need just a tad bit more information, not much, but just a little more...it had its WTHeck? moments when I had to go back and reread the previous lines, but as the book went on, I got some of the answers I wanted.

So, by the end of the book, you had some idea about Celeste's abilities, what she is & why she is what she is. The first person she met that had knew about her and who she was, Rylan, didn't know much about what to tell her, he was learning as he went as well..but he gave her information he knew as it was needed. Then there was her best friend Tink, who befriended her first when he saw her sitting alone at the lunch table. I would have to say, although I love them all, Tink, by far, is my favorite! (If you decide to read the book, he will explain why he has that name and where it came from). I also love Celeste's parents..they are amazing!

This is a short book, about 248 pages. I can say that you don't want to go into this book expecting an epic read. Just go into it expecting to at least be entertained for a little while, and you probably wont be disappointed. It's pretty well written, fast pacing throughout most of it. Some kind of 'adventure' in most of the chapters, which I loved most!

There is a book two, called Riven, Im not sure if there is another book out there yet, or if there ever will be, Rua & Riven are the only two I saw and know about.

As of 5/29/2013, the book is still free on amazon for Kindle. Just go to amazon, click on Kindle Store, type in Rua and it should pop up. :-)

    Happy Reading & Enjoy! :-)

This book is an short easy read, It helded my interest and I didn't want to put it down. A little to much high school drone for my liking, but considering the age group that will most likely read it, properly good.

This was such a great book. I loved that there was so much action. I only wish that the book was longer.
