    Introduction

    Busy people have little time to waste, these recipes recognise that fact and are very quick to make. I hope you enjoy my collection of Quick and Easy Recipes that are simple to prepare and cook, Recipes are suitable for all levels of experience. Even a complete novice can follow these recipes. This is a great book for students a college.

    Recipes are simple and easy to prepare and cook. A range of added ingredients can be added to each recipe to enable a range interesting tastes to be experimented with and enjoyed.

    Enjoy these recipes and experiment with them. The worst that can happen is that the taste may not be the one you were looking for. It is doubtful that the taste would be awful. You may be surprised and have invented a new recipe for yourself.

    To aid you when shopping, especially if you are using a Kindle eBook reader, the ingredient lists are reproduced on a separate page each in addition to the list with each recipe.

    On the Kindle it will produce a page of ingredients per recipe (as long as you don’t resize too much) Otherwise you can print off the ingredient list.

    A small glossary should prevent issues over country differences with ingredient names

    Corned Beef Savoury Dish

    Great on cold winter evenings. Can be served with vegetables, salads or just garlic bread.

    Ingredients:

    1 x  12 ounce (340g) tin of corned beef

    1 large onion

    1 x 12 oz (200g) pot of cottage cheese or any soft cheese of your liking

    2 eggs

    0.25 UK (0.3 US or  140ml) of a pint of milk

    1 tin of sweetcorn , peas or tinned vegetable of your choice

    1 beef OXO or other stock cube

    Method:

    Thinly slice the corned beef and lay a few slices over the bottom of a rectangular oven proof dish about 9 inches by 7 inches and 3 inches high. (230mm x 180mm x 75mm)

    Slice the onion and lay half of the slices over the corned beef. Pour away the juices from the tin of vegetables and place half of the vegetables over the onions.

    Crumble half of your stock cube over the vegetables as evenly as possible.

    Then repeat the layers again using the rest of the corned beef, then onion, the vegetables and finally the second half of the stock cube.

    Mix together in a basin the 2 eggs and the milk, then add the cottage cheese to them and mix together.

    Pour this mix over the top of the corned beef dish and sprinkle with seasoning.

    Bake in a pre heated oven at 425 F (220 C or
