Chapter 1: Sugar Glider Basics
Congratulations on taking your first step towards owning a sugar glider! This book will help answer questions you may have about purchasing your new pet. We will discuss sugar glider basics, and also touch on topics such as things to consider before buying your new pet and things he or she will need in order to be comfortable in their new home.

They are nocturnal; during the day they sleep in their nests and become very active and engaging after sundown.
The Latin name for the sugar glider is Petaurus breviceps, and it is a species of marsupial. It is also sometimes called a sugar bear
because they can stand up and make very loud noises in order to scare away possible predators. It gets the common name sugar glider
because it enjoys eating fruits and it is also capable of gliding through the air through base jumping techniques, which is essentially hopping from fixed objects and gliding between them. Sugar gliders can glide up to 45 meters, and while in flight they can manipulate their paths so that they can even catch bugs in their mouth before landing.
Physical Characteristics
Sugar gliders have soft, fuzzy, squirrel-like
