Welcome to these six atheist teaching tales. My name is Eric Maisel and I’m the author of more than 40 books, including The Atheist’s Way. I hope you enjoy these tales and, if you do, let others know about them!

Many spiritual, religious and philosophical traditions employ the teaching tale or teaching fable as a way to communicate their principles and practices.

There are biblical tales in the Judeo-Christian tradition, well-known Sufi teaching tales like The blind man and the elephant, Enlightenment tales like Candide, and modern cautionary tales like Animal Farm.

This volume contains six tales that add to the canon of atheist teachings. I am including them in the natural psychology series of writings since natural psychology is rooted in the Darwinian and naturalistic view that our species evolved and was not created and therefore is essentially atheistic.
