      Prelude

      Welcome

      I invested about 10 years of my life building this Guide. This all started with me helping one guy, a good friend of mine, improve his Game. As a joke he would call me Professor Batts and I would refer to him as my humble student. After about a year of mentoring him, he went home for vacation and met up with his friends at a local bar. It didn't take long for his friends to notice a dramatic change in his behavior. They noticed how confident he was with women at that bar. Some of his friends were so impressed that they reached out to me a couple of weeks later and asked if I could help them. I was flattered and jokingly I said I could always use more students, but these guys were serious and ready to learn. They knew if I could help that nerdy friend of theirs, I could definitely help them... so I did. Then, when those guys learned the Game, their friends noticed a change in their behavior around women. A friend would tell another friend, and so on and so on, and they continued to share my number. So the nickname Professor Batts never went away and I had fun referring to these single guys as my students. Great Times!

      This cycle would continue for years. Eventually, I had noticed a pattern in the type of questions these guys would ask. These questions became easier to answer because I would simply use the same answers over and over again with minor adjustments.

      Well, I'm in a good relationship now and things are changing for me. As my girlfriend spends more time with me, I have less time to answer mentoring calls from my students. If this relationship continues to grow, who knows, I may propose to this girl! This transition scares me for many reasons, and one of those reasons led to the creation of this book. Since I am moving out of the dating scene, for what I hope to be a permanent move, I am afraid I might forget the Game. Maybe not now, not tomorrow, but over the next few years I will get rusty and forget the Game. These feelings are so strong, I can't sleep at night. I honestly believe it would be a big waste of time to let all of this coaching, knowledge that has changed so many single guys' lives in a positive way, waste away in my mind. Well, I can't let that happen.

      To those students who tried to convince me to write a book, I am finally switching roles and taking your advice. Here it is... my official Guide. Enjoy!

      I get excited when I read this intro. I wrote the first version of this Guide in 2005, and this intro was literally the first page to pour out of my fingertips while in my apartment in Los Angeles. Here we are in 2013, and very few changes were necessary to keep this Guide current. You remember that girlfriend I was blabbing about in my intro? Well, we are happily married and the relationship continues to grow. As I prepare to release this Guide as an eBook, I figure, why change the intro now! Like the content in this Guide, it still works.
