About this ebook
I first started writing Christian poems in my teens but stopped due to having a long illness. When I started recovering in my early twenties, I returned to writing Christian poems and songs. These are my ten favourite poems, written across an eight-year period. Some of them are short, some of them are long, but all of them were inspired by the same Triune God.
‘Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen.’ 1 Timothy 1:17 (New King James Version)

I'd Rather Be Homeless in Heaven, Than Have a Mansion in Hell - Katy Gray
Foreword
Being brought up in a Christian home, I learned a lot about God, the Bible and many aspects of Christianity from an early age. I started writing Christian poems and songs from my teens but after I was converted in July 2011, I had inspiration for a new poem or song almost every week. The creativity dried up over the following months and it has been a while since I wrote a poem of this nature.
The ten poems included here are my favourite ones. I have written others over the years but most of them are unfinished. I would often have the inspiration for one verse of a poem or the chorus of a song but nothing else. I wrote these single verses or choruses down in the hope that one day, I would be able to finish them.
"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" 1 Corinthians 10:31 (New King James Version)
I’d Rather Be
This was a poem I started writing in my teens and changed into a song in 2011. I even wrote music to accompany the words. I’ve still
