      Dedication

      I dedicate this book to my daughters Jenny and Helen Lewis, who have taught me more about the meaning of surrendering to God, as I kept the night watches during those times when they were ill; or the times spent on my knees when they were away or when I thought they were in danger. Surrendering to God is more than a blissful sigh of love. It is believing in His mercy in a merciless world; believing in His grace when all seems lost; and most of all, believing in His love when I see His love reflected within my daughter's eyes.
