    TJ was cursed to be born with what her third grade teacher referred to as "potential". While her family thought it meant she was a gifted writer, it was just a nice way of saying she talked too much. But, as any parent will do, her mother ran with the potential angle and forced her to write stories. After a childhood spent entertaining the masses (mainly her teddy bears), she was ready for her first full length novel. Surprisingly, the world was not ready for a story about a Cyclops with a pet grizzly bear so she focused her talent on more mainstream fiction and finally found success with her debut novel, Night Games. She lives in Texas with her husband and ungrateful children who were not happy to hear their own third grade teacher say they, too, have potential. Somehow, amid the chaos of dogs, cats, parrots, parakeets and a rabbit, she manages to write stories, knowing one day the Cyclops story will have an audience.
