A Note from the Author: This collection of interconnected short stories – Alibi Jones and The Time War of The Devrizium – tells some of the same stories you'll find in Alibi Jones' comic books. As not everyone reads comics – even though you really should – compiling this anthology of the comic book scripts' audio adaptations gives Alibi's non-comic reading fans a chance to also experience these adventures with The Devrizium. If you enjoy the stories within, please consider picking up the comic book adventures to see them brought to illustrated life.

ABOUT TIME
I Am Madone of The Devrizium. By our reckoning, there have been nine Passes
– nine functional time lines – since the dawn of our race. We may now be in the tenth pass. The evidence is far from clear. One sad fact – By the reckoning of The Devrizium, each Pass has been ending sooner, aside from Pass 6 which ended abruptly. In this Pass, we temporal travelers of The Devrizium can only travel up to a point in our human year 2222. Whether that is the end of ALL time or just the end of OUR time, we of The Devrizium cannot say.
Why so many timelines? As we of The Devrizium developed the ability to travel through time, one, the self-styled Lord of Time
Davizi, decided to alter time, traveled back to the dawn of our race and jump-started our race's technological advancement – in so doing, the original timeline, the First Pass, was destroyed. To our own shame, as we of the Devrizium have struggled between ourselves, we have destroyed additional Passes.
We are The Devrizium. We stand beyond time. We travel through time. We... change time. Occasionally. Time is more fluid, less changeable than you guess. Much can change without altering the time flow – a current not easily stirred...
Alibi Jones sits alone in his cabin, the small room temporarily his any time he visits his Aunt Anita's place on Ceres Central, the base on the largest asteroid in the belt beyond Mars. His aunt runs Ceres Central – she's the governor.
The room used to be his childhood bedroom, but it's now decorated in a more adult fashion; part of his aunt's apartment, the room is used by Anita for many different guests.
Alibi uses his Wand
– his intergalactic communication device. Built using alien technology, the Wand is slightly longer and a little bulkier than a short range device because of its powerful energy source, needed so The Wand can tap into the subspace communications grid created a million years ago by the race known as the Ancient Enemy.
The grid was maintained for a millennium by the now-deceased race known as The Eldred. Now humanity uses the grid for its own long-distance, faster-than-light communication.
As Alibi's flips through messages on his Wand, his mind is on the girl who broke his heart – although he refuses to admit to himself that Katie did him any damage. He's deleting old files saved on his Wand. Messages from Katie. Her face keeps appearing and disappearing on the Wand's screen. She's a redhead, about 20 years old, a pretty girl, but trouble.
Hey Alibi, it's Katie...
Delete!
Message deleted. Next Message:
Ali? You there? It's me...
Delete!
Alibi doesn't notice his Aunt Anita has now appeared on the Wand's small screen instead of Katie. In the groove of deleting old messages, Alibi does not realize that he is getting a new one.
Alibi?
His aunt calls out. Are you awa...
Delete!
Delete? Alibi!
Anita responds, perturbed that Alibi has shouted Delete
at her.
Anita Capituna stands in the kitchen area of her apartment.
Sorry Aunt Anita! I was deleting old messages,
Alibi tells her. His somewhat
