About this ebook
Lasia's Fate tells the story of one of the most famous tales in Christian legend, that of Saint George and the Dragon. The story is neither trying to make the reader believe or disbelieve in the existence of God but rather to enjoy the narrative as a knight does battle with a mighty dragon.

Lasia's Fate - Chris Harvey
Foreword
The following short story is a work of fiction and is based on elements from different versions of the Saint George and the Dragon story. It is in no way attempting to prove or disprove the existence of God and should not be used to promote either belief system. The author wishes to make it clear that whilst he is a Christian he is also Agnostic and thus believes that we do not currently possess the knowledge to ascertain the existence of God or Gods. Whilst he believes God exists, if a believer were to state this as fact he would deny that was possible at this present time and ask them how they could prove God’s existence. In the same breath, if a non-believer stated that God did not exist the author would also ask them to prove this also. If either could prove truth then the author would fully take on that way of thinking.
The story was in fact written because Shakespeare’s birthday is on the same day as Saint George’s day and this was being celebrated in the author’s school whilst Saint George was being forgotten.
