    Defeat of satan can only be obtained in and by through by the name of Jesus ---the Lord Jesus Christ. It is essential that all prayer against satan be done in that context.
    It says in the scriptures that the reason Jesus came to earth was to destroy the works the devil has done. As part of the Body of Christ and His Bride it no less our function to do the same. It is best we proceed with wisdom and knowledge about what we are doing.
    Jesus said that some of satan’s hierarchy could only be removed by prayer and fasting. The author has not dealt with the subject of fasting in this book as there are a plethora of excellent books available on the subject.
    We have found it a useful practice to come against a whole category of any section of satan’s hierarchy, if necessary. This, if there is not complete clarity who you are dealing with.
    It is absolutely vital to ask the Holy Spirit to guide the whole episode of prayer warfare. He is able unmask certain parts of satan’s hierarchy that are being sneaky and trying to hide away.
    "I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
    Matthew 16:18, 19.
    By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear.
    Isaiah 45:23.
    ‘.,that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
    Philippians 2:10, 11.
    Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
    James 4:7.
    This all involves Jesus, His saints and the Holy Spirit doing the Will of the Father.
    The author looks in detail at what has be dealt with in our lives, in order to remove the encumbrances that hold us back from a successful Christian life.
    The whole book presents a very comprehensive and detailed set of data and strategies on how to deal with satan and his cohorts.
    Spiritual warfare can now be done be done efficiently and with knowledge about the enemy camp and forces. We can then destroy all their forces.
    We can be free to live in victory in Jesus Christ.
