About this ebook

The unit is sent to Kobata in order to apprehend Iqbal Hasheed's "War Cabinet". Using the mission template from Black Hawk Down (operation Gothic Serpent) the unit uses its skills in order to pull the mission off in this military science fiction story. While Book 3 handled the ill effects of that fated mission this short story actually shows when it works.

    Operation Resolute Justice

I usually try not to go over or redo stories based on events as it keeps me honest but also so it doesn’t seem like I’m retreading a story. However, the Black Hawk Down (Operation Gothic Serpent) scenario still works as a viable way to work on mounted combat and with my universe, allows it to be reworked, and the intent is to show how the mission would have went had nothing gone wrong on that fateful day.

Looks like this is a busy year for everybody, Lt. Bradi said as he stepped into the TOC (Tactical Operations Center) area on FOB (Forward Operating Base) Blessing. Having been back a week from Lisbon, it seemed that all the troublemakers would take a break from their petty fighting and let them breathe. He expected the CO (Commanding Officer) to answer him, but taking a few more steps he noted that she wasn’t inside her office. Poking his head into the actual TOC, he saw Mills keeping an eye on the screens along with a holo movie that he knew wouldn’t be seen during a battle. Where did she go?

Outside exercising sir, Mills said, taking her eyes from the holo and making sure that she was still paying attention to the real world.

Ignoring the situation, he was more concerned
