About this ebook

Playboy Rain Foster is nowhere near ready to settle down, but if there's one woman he would make that sacrifice for, it's Carolina Perez. When Carolina tells Rain she's getting married, he decides he must find a way to stop that wedding.

Overly cautious Daphne Moore has had a thing for Rain Foster since she first saw him at college freshman orientation. However, she's learned to be careful with her heart when it comes to guys--especially guys like Rain. Besides, Rain has always had his eye--and more--on their other friend, Carolina. When Rain asks to be Daphne's date to Carolina's wedding, Daphne knows saying yes will lead to big trouble. Still, she's never been good at saying no to Rain.

After Daphne makes a huge mistake with Rain, she avoids him for the sake of her own sanity. She shouldn't have done what she did because she knows Rain is and always will be a womanizer. Rain can't get Daphne out of his system. For the first time in his life, Rain is turning into an absolute mess because of a woman. Then comes another first for Rain: he finds himself chasing a woman.

I write contemporary romance novels that stray a little bit outside of the genre. I've always had trouble coloring in the lines, so to speak. I published three full-length novels with Genesis Press: Love Out of Order (February 2010), The Davis Years (February 2011), and Holding Her Breath (July 2011). I am now venturing out into the self-publishing world, and I love it so far. My first novella, Pink Champagne, is available here at Smashwords and in most other places e-books are sold. I hope to publish two more novels by February 2013. Visit my website for updates about those.

Daphne has been in love with Rain Foster ever since she met him in college. But Rain had thought of Carolina as his girlfriend and even though they fought a lot, Rain always figured that they would one day get married. Rain, Daphne, and Carolina were friends from the beginning even when Rain and Carolina fought, they still remained friends. After college and one to many fights with Carolina the three of them drifted apart. Rain was very successful in his business dealings and in his private life. He was pretty much of a player and never lacked for female company. Soon, five years had passed and aside from infrequent "hook-ups" with Carolina the friends had pretty much gone their own ways. One night Rain received a call from Carolina that really shocked him. She was inviting him to her wedding. He could not believe that she would marry someone else. He told her that he would come to the wedding, but he planned on winning her back before the wedding took place. He felt that she belonged with him. Rain contacted Daphne to see if she was going to the wedding and made arrangements for them to travel together to Puerto Rico for the wedding. Daphne had a room at the hotel, provided to her by the bride since she was to be part of the wedding party. However, all the other rooms were booked so Daphne offered to allow Rain to share her room. I liked the main characters and the supporting characters. It was well written, easy to read, with a fun and interesting story line. I very much enjoyed the book. *A Good Reads Win
