Muffin Puffin - Catherine McGrew Jaime

    Introduction

Hi! I’m Muffin, Muffin Puffin. Maybe we’ve met before? Or maybe you read my first book, Muffin Puffin and the Whale Tale? If so, welcome back. If not, welcome anyway.

Here I am, working on my books.

    ~

Two years ago I accompanied Aunt Cathy, Aunt Cindy, and Aunt Cheryl on their first cruise – to Alaska. Since I’m from Alaska that was particularly exciting for me.

This is some of the beautiful scenery we saw on our first cruise.

    ~

But this year they decided to go on a cruise to the Yucatan Peninsula. They invited their mom to join us on this trip – and this will be her first cruise. We’re all very excited! Since there are so many of us this time around, we’re getting two rooms. It won’t be as crowded as it was last time, but it should still be lots of fun! Come along and I’ll tell you all about it. (Okay, not all about it, I’ll leave out the boring parts! But there really weren’t very many of those, so you’ll still get to hear about lots!)

I haven’t been on a trip since our cruise two years ago, so I’m really excited. Of course, it seems like Aunt Cathy never sits still, she’s been on many others without me – but that’s alright. I’m her cruise buddy, so I’m okay with that.

Please join us for this next exciting trip!

There aren’t as many people packing to go somewhere as the last time we cruised. Maria headed out this morning and drove to Atlanta, in order to fly to California. (That’s the wrong direction from Alabama, I know, but don’t tell her, you might hurt her feelings!)

    Fun California flag

    ~

Victoria and Manny left soon after her for a quick trip to Louisville, Kentucky. Victoria just graduated from high school and leaves in a couple of weeks to head to Albania (yes, as in the country), so she’s been trying to see as many people as she can before she departs.

Albania has an interesting flag, too.

    ~

For the rest of us, the big excitement these days is soccer games – the fall soccer season has officially begun. Aunt Cathy spent the day going to soccer games, working on her new computer to get it ready for the trip, doing laundry, and running errands. This time I’m not surprised that she’s not packing today, the day before the trip. I didn’t
