Preface
Welcome to How to Work for Yourself, a book that’s meant to get you in the right state of mind to start a business, book or blog.

This book has many tips that can’t be found in the course, so make sure to read on to get a comprehensive understanding of time, energy and priority management. Enjoy!
Introduction
This book is for anybody trying to create a business, book or blog. I refer to these endeavors as creative projects
because they all require creativity and they often need to be created from the ground up. The access to information that the internet brings has given nearly everybody the ability to learn how to start and finish a creative project. If that's true, why doesn't everybody have a side business, a self-published book and a well-trafficked blog? My theory is that most people who want to create a new project don't have the skills in time management, energy management, life priority management and planning to get the project off the ground. That was me for a long time. I wanted to create something that would stand the test of time, like a book, a play or a comedic masterpiece. The only problem was that I couldn't get my head on straight.
I worked hard to learn the skills I’d need to create not just one project but many projects. In the last few years, I've written 30 books on the side of my regular job, which have sold more than 20,000 copies and earned me more than $35,000. To learn these important lessons, I read dozens of books, listened to countless audio programs and used trial and error to make myself a lean, mean, creative machine. Since most people don't have the time or drive to go through all of that, I thought I'd put together a collection of the 100 ways people could follow in my footsteps to create something in their own lives.
This book is a companion to my $97 online video course on Udemy. The course is free for a limited time for readers of this book.

These tips are not included in the course and the tips in the course are not provided in this book. They are two complementary works that will help you to achieve your goals. I suggest that you try both and see which style of learning works best for you.
I hope this collection of tips helps you to take action. If you follow even a few of them, you'll make progress in your quest for an awesome business, book or blog. Good luck and happy reading!
Sincerely,
Bryan Cohen

Chapter 1: The Extra Hour
Imagine what you could do with an extra 365 hours a year. Would you finally have the time to plan out your business, book, blog or other creative project? Maybe you'd use it to relax after a long day of work so that you could power through your project on the weekend. You could spend it with the kids, the spouse, the friends, etc. Regardless of how you'd use it, you'd figure out the most productive thing possible for you and your fulfillment. The following 12 tips will help you to save five minutes each. If you add up all 12, that will give you an entire hour every day to use as you please. If you already employ any of the 12 timesaving tips, check out the bonus tip for generating other methods to save time.
1. Skip the snooze button and train yourself to get up right away in the morning.
If you're like most people, you hit the snooze button two or three times before you wake up in the morning. You may feel like you need that extra five to 20 minutes to fully get your bearings at the break of dawn. In reality, it's a habit that can be broken. Once you get used to getting up
