Chapter One
Colonel Kael Vettano could make the dead rise up and take notice. He was the sexiest man in the entire universe. He had black hair that was just long enough to cover his ears. A chiseled jaw, stunning green eyes and a body to make a gay man weep with want. Colonel Vettano could get any man, or woman for that matter, to grovel at his feet and beg to suck his cock. Yes, I was one of the willing. Unfortunately, he’d never notice me in the hordes of people clamoring to see his dick. I wasn’t a buff marine. Oh no, I was a scientist. I played silly computer games in my free time, I could reprogram all the screens on our space ship to display porn in under five minutes, and I was completely forgettable.
Do you know what that’s like? It’s damned annoying. For five months now, we’ve been on this ship, flying through the dark and empty space. We’re heading for a planet that might be able to sustain the human population. You see, Earth is dying, and we’re trying to find a new planet. I spent the last five months keeping this ship going and the systems working and life support keeping the air breathable. What do I get? Bags under my eyes, bad meals, and a sore wrist from all the wanking. Of course, I didn’t keep the ship running by myself but still, I helped. A lot.
Colonel Kael Vettano, yeah, I was staring at him. Again. I couldn’t help myself. We were in a meeting with nearly twenty people, and my eyes gravitated toward the muscular leader. My pants were quickly becoming tight in the crotch area. I was between two scientists on my team, standing in the back of the room. The lead scientist was talking, but he was rambling on about life support and how he fixed the glitch. Blah, blah, blah. We could breath and it would last the full trip, so what the hell did we need the meeting for?
Kael stood. Any more information on our new home?
The lead scientist cleared his throat. Well, that wasn’t on the docket for today. I had one of my underlings...
I snorted.
Then get me the underling.
Kael said in his no nonsense way.
I stood straighter, my palms suddenly becoming sweaty. Me? He wanted to talk with me? Yes, sir, I have the information.
I peeled away from the wall, moved through the other nerds, and stood before Kael. Holy crap, he was even hotter up close. His skin was tanned perfection, and he had a few days of stubble on his jaw.
So speak...
Kael sat back down.
Right. Sorry, um, I adjusted the long-range sensors, and the planet appears to be ideal. It has plant life that produces oxygen. There looks to be a water-like substance covering forty percent of the surface. There are no life forms present. There’s no radiation, no signs of a civilization as far as we can tell.
Kael nodded. Excellent. How long before we land?
In four hours we’ll be in orbit around the planet.
He nodded again. Now, who’s briefing me on the ship’s landing capabilities?
Screw it, I stayed where I was and started going right into the mechanics of it. I knew this ship well, better than that. I could run the entire thing by myself if I had to. If that asshole of a lead scientist thought he could push me out of the way, he was wrong. I don’t know where my burst of backbone came from, but I was going to use it while I had it. I recited successful simulations and percentages, and I rattled off expected times as if I were in charge. It felt damn good to have a voice, especially to the stunning Colonel. He listened to my entire speech, nodding occasionally. When I was done, I stood in the center of the room, all eyes on me, and my backbone started to fold.
Well said. What was your name?
Bryant, Sam Bryant.
Holy crap! He knew my name. I was near giddy.
Now, where’s my second in command? I want to go over the mission once more.
I was shuffled aside, and the room was now echoing with weapon storage and assault tactics. My head was not in the conversation as my heart still fluttered from the Colonel’s attention. Kael, would it be too forward to call him such? I hid my foolish grin as best I could, finding my way back to the wall. I spent the rest of the meeting watching my Colonel, day dreaming about him stripping before us so we could descend upon his hard cock like harpies.
When the meeting was over, I shuffled out the door and toward my small room. There were six bunks in there, and alone time was so rare it bordered on never. With everyone preparing for the arrival, I slipped in the door. I had planed to pull down my pants, let my primed cock spring free, and jerk off until a beautiful ribbon of cum sprayed across the floor. I had just placed my thumbs in the rim of my pants the intercom came on.
"Sam Bryant to the
