      Tent of Isolation

      Isolated under plastic,

      from days long ago.

      Immersed in oxygen,

      breath became slow.

      Secluded from the outside,

      protected from within.

      Creating moments of solitary,

      in a world with no end.

      Abandoned to wonder,

      what tomorrow would bring.

      Lying motionless,

      to life cling.

      Uncertainty ever present,

      tranquility not found.

      People not there,

      whispering sound.

      Empathy becomes a friend,

      trapped inside the air.

      Loneliness under a blanket,

      calling to the Nowhere.

      Knowledge and wisdom visit,

      that tent all alone.

      Isolation screams out,
