    Because falling in love can be emotionally overwhelming, we often by-pass common sense and proceed with a partner who, only later, we realize was not a wise choice.

    The high divorce rate is proof positive people often rush into marriage and do so with unrealistic expectations. Only later do they see they have been blindsided by getting married with their emotions rather than with their heads.

    This book addresses these problems head-on by asking engaged couples to answer a few questions honestly and realistically. Some of those questions are:

    Are You Marrying the Right Person?
    Are You Ready?
    Are You Rushing?
    Why Are You Getting Married Now?

    Directions are given on how to find state-of-the-art books to read, counselors to see, compatibility tests to take for both those who agree to postpone or cancel their engagement as well as those who determine they are ready to proceed to marriage.

    Writing this book is my contribution to helping to reduce the divorce rate and save couples a great deal of stress and pain.
